Substrates

Coroplast

Coroplast is a high quality polypropylene material that comes in sheet form. The fluted design makes it very lightweight and versatile for any project. It comes in select colors and sizes, and is ideal for indoor and outdoor applications.

Dibond

Dibond is an aluminum composite material with a solid polyethylene core. The core is "sandwiched" between two aluminum sheets, which houses the plastic core. This makes dibond an extremely strong and rigid media.

Foam Board

Foam board is an extremely lightweight media. It is a backing meterial widely used in the framing art industry and is made of a type of Styrofoam covered on both sides with paper or plastic so that the foam is the core of the sandwich. It is for short-term printed projects and has a low durability due to its foam core with paper liners. It is also great for cut lettering or shapes due to the lightweight. Foam core is also commonly used for architectural models, to prototype small objects and to produce patterns for casting as well.

Plexiglass

Plexiglass is a transparent acrylic plastic often used in place of glass. The acrylic is a synthetic polymer called polymethyl methacrylate, or PMMA. Plexiglass is very tough and has a better flexibility and shatter resistance that glass does not posses.

Polystyrene

Polystyrene is a platic polymer of styrene. Styrene is a colourless oily volatile flammable water-insoluble liquid made from ethylene and benzene. Used in making of synthetic plastics and rubbers. Polystyrene is a thin, lightweight, and plastic printable media that is very flexible. It is ideally used for indoor or outdoor applications.

Vinyls

Cast

Cast films are the industry premium vinyl. These films start in a liquid state with the ingredients blended and then poured onto a casting sheet. Cast vinyl is a high quality softer material that comes in roll form. Cast vinyl offers excellent dimensional stability, adhesion, and conforms to curved surfaces, which makes it a perfect choice for car wraps. It comes in select grades, colors, sizes, and is ideal for indoor and outdoor application.

Gloss & Matte

Calendared films are considered short-term, intermediate, and long lasting films depending on grade and type. It starts with a molten mixture that is extruded through a dye and fed through a series of calendaring rolls. Gloss and matte vinyl are considered calendared films and the only difference between the two is the surface finish. Calendared vinyl is a great quality material that comes in roll form. This vinyl offers good dimensional stability, adhesion, and long lasting color, which makes it a perfect choice for digital or screen printed projects. It comes in select grades, colors, sizes, and is ideal for indoor and outdoor applications.
